New Drugs for Indigestion and Heartburn for Children
October 11th, 2007 by phyllis
I was on vacation last week driving to the Netherlands to visit a friend. My husband and I were talking about things in the news. He was shocked by something he read about the rise of indigestion and heartburn in children. Naturally, the drug companies responded by saying they were developing new drugs to combat the problem. The article also stated that this new development could be associated with the rise of childhood obesity. My reaction was ‘you think?’ As parents, our job is to provide nutritious meals and combined with the ability to say ‘no’ to unhealthy snacks and eating. This also requires that parents take a look at their own lifestyle and physical condition to avoid the ‘do as I say, not as I do’ dilemma!

I read similar article also named New Drugs for Indigestion and Heartburn for Children - Your Parenting Matters, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me
