When Parenting Feels Like a Burden

If you are feeling ‘done’ at the end of the day or that parenting is a huge burden, it is time for some self-indulgence. Many parents, particularly the one who stays home with the children, give up the things that make them feel good. Things like going to the gym, getting a manicure, eating right and getting enough sleep go out the window when catering to the needs of children. But, that does not have to be the case. A well-functioning, stress-free mom or dad makes the best parent.

Great advice, I think too many parents take on too much at once and don’t stop to think about their own needs. Parenting is an important job but you can’t be a good parent if you’re run down and worked to the bone.
